angrboda is a frost giantess know as goddess of sorrow and grief who lives in land of giants "jotunheim".she is mistress of Loki and later gave birth to three powerful creatures known as Hel, the goddess of the underworld; Jormungand, the great serpent who slays Thor during Ragnarok; and Fenrir, the wolf who bites off one of the hands of Tyr and who kills Odin during Ragnarok
